We don’t guess. We ask.

Write the ticket once. Nobody has to ask back.

Write with Nova turns a title and rough notes into a brief: intent, context, behaviour, constraints and acceptance checks. What it cannot know from your notes, it asks you, instead of making it up.

Annual plans for teams

Intent

As a team admin, I want to switch my workspace to yearly billing, so that we pay less and invoice once a year.

Context

•Billing page: src/billing/BillingPanel.tsx

•Prices come from Stripe; the portal already handles card changes

Behaviour

1.Admins see Switch to yearly on the billing page.

2.The switch takes effect at the next renewal, prorated.

3.The invoice shows the yearly price per seat.

Open questions

•Can a workspace switch back to monthly before the year ends?

Acceptance checks

0 of 3 proven
  • An admin can switch to yearly; members cannot see the button

  • The next invoice shows the yearly price per seat

  • The switch happens at renewal, not immediately

Your answer…

Not Ready for agent while a question is open. Answer it and the AI works the answer into the brief.

The app’s own components, rendered with example data.

§ 01

One structure, for people and agents

Every brief has the same sections, so whoever builds it finds the same things in the same place. Each ticket type gets what it needs.

  • Stories and features: Intent, Context, numbered Behaviour, Edge cases, Constraints, Out of scope.
  • Bugs: Steps to reproduce, Expected and Actual.
  • Tasks: What to do, concrete enough to start right away.
  • Epics: Scope and capabilities. Initiatives: success measures, milestones and risks.
  • Headings stay in English in every language; the text follows the language of your notes.
§ 02

Assumptions you keep or strike

Anything the AI filled in that your notes do not say is listed as an assumption. Keep it, or strike it and it leaves the brief. Business facts it cannot know, such as names, numbers, limits and exact wording, become open questions and “[to confirm]” placeholders instead of confident guesses.

§ 03

Acceptance checks instead of acceptance criteria

Checks come back as their own list, one observable statement each, saved with the ticket and ticked later with evidence. A description that still carries an old “Acceptance criteria” list turns into checks with one click.

§ 04

Readiness you can see on every card

Each ticket gets a score from 0 to 100, computed from the brief itself: an intent (25), at least one acceptance check (30), no open questions (25) and context such as a repository, file or link (20). All four make it Ready for agent, and board cards and backlog rows show a robot mark.

§ 05

Brainstorm against your actual code

Pro

The Brainstorm tab is a conversation with Nova about what to build next. It reads the web, your tickets, specs, roadmap and risks, and the repositories assigned to the project at the head of their main branch, plus up to eight more for one brainstorm. Write the plan, then create the features and stories in one step, with their acceptance criteria as checks.

  • Reads Bitbucket repositories; the plan names the files that exist today.
  • Nova never changes tickets or code by itself; changes wait as a card until you confirm.

Questions

Do I have to use the AI?

No. Write briefs yourself, start from a template in the Brief Library, or paste your old tickets. Readiness is scored the same way either way.

Does it work in German, French or Spanish?

Yes. The brief follows the language of your notes. The section headings stay in English so that people and agents find the same sections in every ticket.

How many AI briefs are included?

Free includes 50 AI actions a month, Pro 1,000 and Business 5,000 per workspace. Add your own OpenAI key under Integrations and there is no limit.

What happens to my notes?

Nothing is saved until you create the ticket or choose Save description. Undo brings your notes and the previous checks back.
