Capacity you plan, not guess.
Plan people onto projects, epics and features by share of their week. See each person’s load week by week, who is overbooked, and where the estimates of open tickets outgrow the plan.
Lena is planned at 120% in W47 and W48. Sam’s tickets need 34 h more than his plan in the next 4 weeks.

People and projects, week by week
One row per person with their planned load per week, grouped by team: blue is partly planned, green is 80 to 100 percent, red is over. One row per project with the full-time equivalents planned each week.
Drag to plan
Click an empty week to plan someone. Drag a bar to move it, drag its edges to change the dates. Before you save, the dialog shows the person’s load and warns when they would go over 100 percent. Every change can be undone.
Warnings from the tickets
A row turns amber when someone has open tickets on a project they are not planned on in the next four weeks, or when their tickets’ estimates add up to more than their planned hours.
Supply against demand per cost center
Management sees capacity by team or by cost center, the forecast against every budget, and everyone who is over 100 percent.
Questions
Does planning change who is assigned?
No. Plans are a separate layer for capacity. Assignees stay as they are.
Where do weekly hours come from?
From the project team settings: the highest capacity on any of a person’s teams, 40 hours when they are on none.
